With the rapid development of e-commerce and the globalization of trade, online shopping platforms (like Amazon, Tmall, etc.) and agent purchase platforms (such as Superbuy, Pandabuy, etc.) have become essential channels for consumers to purchase goods. The efficiency and accuracy of logistics delivery are critical factors influencing customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to analyze and compare the timeliness and accuracy of logistics delivery between these two types of platforms.
To conduct this research, data was collected from 500 customers who have used both online shopping platforms and agent purchase platforms. The data included delivery time, packaging quality, accuracy of delivered items, and customer feedback. Statistical analysis tools were used to evaluate the differences in logistics performance.
Online shopping platforms generally have faster delivery times compared to agent purchase platforms. This is primarily due to the presence of local warehouses and established logistics networks. Agent purchase platforms often involve cross-border shipping, which can lead to delays due to customs and international regulations.
Both platforms show high accuracy in delivering the correct items. However, online shopping platforms had a slightly better track record, with a 98.5% accuracy rate compared to 96.8% for agent purchase platforms. This difference may be due to the additional handling and repackaging processes required by agent platforms.
While online shopping platforms outperform agent purchase platforms in terms of delivery timeliness, both platforms demonstrate high accuracy in fulfilling orders. Improvements in customs cooperation and logistics optimization for agent purchase platforms could help bridge the gap in delivery time. This study highlights the importance of logistics efficiency in enhancing customer experience in e-commerce.
